TIPS and Gratuities are considered income for the tax purpose. If you are working as restaurant servers, hairdressers, valets, taxi drivers, delivery services like Uber Eat, it is your responsbility to report the total amount as income in your tax file. Your tax file could be subject to review if you are working in this profession but not reported any TIPS and Gratuities.
